Today marked my last day of work in Atlanta; actually, my last day of work in GEORGIA. I was giddy, sad, anxious and at peace. There were tears, laughs and lots of hugs. The top level of my building’s parking deck has a great view of Atlantic Station, midtown and downtown, so I wanted to capture a few shots of the beautiful city I’ve called home for many years. I just regret not spending more time up there.
It’s an incredibly strange and foreign feeling … this not working thing because I have pretty much been working since I was 15 years old. Retail, wholesale, restaurants, libraries, private tutoring, newspapers, private companies, public companies, state agencies … I think I’ve got it all covered. I’m looking forward to my next season of exploring various options and possibly school. Ohhh. Totes excited, jyessss.
