The Coffin Club

The Coffin Club is a truly unique community organization, bringing free-spirited seniors together to construct and personalise their own low-cost coffins. Based in small-town New Zealand, with over 60 active members, this group of inspirational elderly meets once a week to rejoice in life while facing the realities of death. Each coffin is decorated by hand to reflect the lives of its makers and costs a mere $250 to make – a much cheaper option than commercial coffins which starts at $2,000.

The film has already clocked up more than 1.5 million views on Upworthy. In addition, the film itself has been accepted into a very prestigious film festival in America. For these reasons, I need to create a website and film poster to help get attention from the media and press. Also, they would like to use the same website as a way to promote the film, including information about the filmmakers, behind-the-scenes photos, and a media press kit.
