As part of our new marketing strategy, i needed to create a beautifully designed cocktail recipe book that customers could easily make at home. We aimed for a clean, simple, and sophisticated design and decided to shoot the photos against a black background to emphasize the cocktails, following our brand guidelines.

Despite our efforts to secure a professional photographer, we encountered difficulties and ultimately decided to take on the challenge ourselves. While none of us had taken commercial photos since graduating from university, we were excited about the opportunity to expand our skill set and gain valuable experience.

After several attempts at adjusting the lighting and staging, we found the perfect composition, angle, and brightness for our photographs. The resulting images were met with enthusiastic reactions from the entire team, and the recipe book provided a new way for users to approach our products in a more approachable manner. It has since been widely used as a marketing tool, appearing in social media, banners, food shows, websites, and more, and helped us successfully complete the project.
